Children from the SOS Children's Village in Imst and youths from the refugee centre in Hall, Austria, enjoyed an afternoon of excitement at the Ice Hockey World Championship, which is presently taking place in Austria. The Finnish national team gave the children a chance to watch the top Scandinavian players train in Innsbruck.
After a tour of the World Championship arena and media centre, player changing rooms and the warm-up arena, the children and youths were able to shake hands with General Manager Jari Kurri (who supports SOS Children's Villages in Finland) and team manager Timo Jutila, as well as both NHL stars Kimmo Timonen and Niko Kapanen.
After a photoshooting session with NHL stars on the ice, the children and youths were fascinated by the Finnish players showing their outstanding skills during a training session.
